Advancing Energy Generation and Transmission

PowerizeD, a technology development project, is focused on improving the way energy is generated and transmitted through the use of digitised and intelligent power electronics.

Integrating Control, Driver, and Switch Functionality

Our approach integrates the control, driver and switching functions to improve performance. Using new circuit models, advanced control strategies and AI, we aim for robust and reliable operation.

Secure data sharing with federated learning

We're concerned about data privacy, so we're using federated learning for secure data sharing. This collaborative approach enables the encrypted transfer of sensitive data.

Innovative Monitoring with Digital Twins

We're introducing the use of digital twins for real-time monitoring and control of power electronics. This new method provides detailed electrical models for monitoring purposes.

A strong Consortium of Partners

A consortium of partners Our consortium, made up of 21 large companies, 18 SMEs and 24 research partners from 13 countries, is focused on demonstrating the potential of our innovative approaches across different industrial domains. We're committed to cross-domain research and innovation.

Addressing Industry Challenges

We're working towards reducing power losses by 25%, increase device/system lifetime by 30%, shrink chip size by 10% and reduce design time by 50%. Our approach also addresses the megatrends of self-sufficiency, sustainability and digitalisation to benefit the economy and society.

Join us in advancing power generation and transmission!
