The PowerizeD project review is taking place next week in Budapest!
From February 4th to 7th, we'll be showcasing the progress and achievements of the PowerizeD project to our reviewers. This review will provide an overview of our work in the project and the impactful results we've achieved so far.
The Plenary meeting of IEC TC56 (Dependability) (Figure 2) took place in Vienna from December 2-6, 2024. It was hosted by ÖVE (Austrian Electrotechnical Association) and supported by the Austrian Mirror Committee EG56, led by Erwin Schoitsch (AIT Austrian Institute of Technology) and Horst Lewitschnig (Infineon Austria), both also the leaders of the PowerizeD Standardization Task. We had the opportunity to present the Standardization Synergies Roll-up Poster (see Figure 1) and give a short overview on the importance of standardization in ECSEL and Chip-JU industry-driven projects, funded by the EC (Horizon Europe, Joint Undertakings ECSEL JU and Chips-JU) and national funding Authorities of the partners in the Plenary and during the seminar.
Dependability includes reliability, availability, maintainability, and supportability, as shown in Figure 3. It is fundamental for the performance of systems and services and impacts both all types of organizations and society in general. Particularly reliability is essential in the context of hardware and semiconductors and upwards to system level. Many targets of PoweriezD are covered by dependability standards, as shown in Figure 3 below, such as contributions to European goals of sustainability, resilience, circular economy, and public interest in trustworthiness of autonomous systems, and asset management in context of industrial supply chains.
Our Project Coordinator, Jochen Koszescha, represented PowerizeD at EFECS 2024, delivering an inspiring speech that highlighted our vision for a sustainable and energy-efficient future.
Over two vibrant days, the PowerizeD team had the pleasure of engaging with numerous visitors at our booth, sharing insights into the project's objectives and transformative goals. EFECS 2024 provided an incredible platform for collaboration, innovation, and networking, reinforcing the importance of our mission to revolutionize energy efficiency and sustainability through cutting-edge technology and cross-industry partnerships. Thank you to everyone who joined us in driving this impactful journey forward!
Our two-day steering meeting in Bilbao has concluded powerfully!
The PowerizeD project team spent the last two days focusing on the project's future direction, exploring approaches to commercialize our technology, aligning our project with industry standards, and identifying potential challenges.
We're grateful to the entire consortium, especially Iñigo Polo Riego, PMP, Igor Larrazabal and Iratxe Lauzirika from Ingeteam, for their warm welcome and helpful support during the meeting. Their contributions were essential to our discussions and collaboration.
